Coombe Hill Meadows     This evening two WHITE STORKS until 7pm at least, ringed Knepp birds. Also two Egyptian Geese, 72 Shelducks, 55 Tufted Ducks, four Little Grebes, a Great Crested Grebe, 14 Whimbrels, three Curlews, a Bar-tailed Godwit, a Black-tailed Godwit, three Redshanks, an adult LITTLE GULL, nine Cattle Egrets, six Great White Egrets, 13+ Little Egrets, a Red Kite, a Raven, three Redstarts and two Yellow Wagtails. Saul Warth     Early morning 50 Bar-tailed Godwits, seven Whimbrels, eight Avocets, five Oystercatchers, 16 Dunlins, a Lapwing, a Curlew, a Common Sandpiper, a pair of Black Swans on the river, 32 Swallows, 30+ House Martins, a Sand Martin and a Swift. (MK). A SHORT-EARED OWL flushed by a walker near Hock Cliff then flew S towards Splatt Bridge. Also a pair of Stonechats near Hock Ditch this morning. (Martin Price).

WWT Slimbridge     Two Hobbies at the back of the Rushy then drifted S late morning. (Tim McGrath). A Little Grebe with two chicks from Knott hide. (Sam Walker/Mike Davis).

Bourton-on-the-Water     An OSPREY at the lakes this afternoon. (Ben Hilder).

Frampton     An OSPREY from Splatt Bridge over the flashes at noon. (Martin Green). From Splatt Bridge 6am-7am, a Common Sandpiper, a Great White Egret, 14 Little Egrets, a Cuckoo calling briefly, four Curlews, two Grey Herons, eight Swallows, four Gadwalls, two Reed Warblers, two Sedge Warblers, two Lesser Whitethroats, 11 Mute Swans and four Cormorants. Around the pools a Yellow Wagtail, a Common Tern, five Whitethroats, a Lesser Whitethroat, a Common Sandpiper, two Swallows, three Oystercatchers, 44 Tufted Ducks, a Greylag with seven goslings and a Mallard with five ducklings. Kilkenny Viewpoint     A Green Woodpecker, a Bullfinch and a Yellowhammer. (Steve Brown).

Chedworth Airfield     A Wheatear and four Swallows, down the road towards Cassey Compton a Firecrest, two Great Spotted Woodpeckers drumming, a Bullfinch, a pair of Ravens, a Jay and a Buzzard. In the vicinity of the Fosse Cross recycling centre a Sparrowhawk and a Red Kite. (Steve Brown).
