This will hopefully help you to find all those places that get mentioned that you’ve never heard of and a few you have heard of but still don’t know where they are. This will also reduce the numbers of emails I have to write telling people where to go (in the nicest possible way of course). Thanks to Brian Stretch for the idea.
A few rules, which ought to be blindingly obvious, but here’s a reminder anyway:
* Always park sensibly and where built-up areas are involved, do not block exits and be mindful of residents privacy.
* Keep to Public Footpaths.
* Keep dogs on a lead.
* Keep out of Private property.
* There is no public access to Gloucester Landfill Site, but certain areas can be viewed from public footpaths and the gulls often loaf on waste ground off of the surrounding roads.
* There is no longer any public access to Tites Point at Purton.
