Coombe Hill Meadows 13 Mute Swans including two pairs with 4 and 2 cygnets, two juvenile Shelducks, a drake Wigeon, four Teal, 170 Mallards, a pair of Tufted Ducks, three Little Egrets, five Grey Herons, three Cormorants over, a pair of Coots with four chicks and at least two pairs on the towpath with full grown young, a Redshank, 13 Lapwings, a Curlew, a Cuckoo still singing strongly, a Redstart, at least five Reed Warblers, two freshly hatched Sedge Warblers being fed right below the Grundon Hide and singing Whitethroat, Blackcap, Willow Warbler, Chiffchaff and Reed Bunting.
