Coombe Hill Meadows This morning a Green Sandpiper, a Sedge Warbler, several Willow Warblers, Chiffchaffs and Whitethroats, a Redstart and close views of a female Lesser Spotted Woodpecker, in the first large Willow on the N side of the canal from the wharf car park. (Mark Longland).
Forest of Dean This afternoon at Woorgreens Lake a Peregrine over at 3:30pm. Also a Little Grebe, four Tufted Ducks and seven Coots. At Crabtree Hill four Jays, a Meadow Pipit, two Blackcaps and two Nuthatches. (John Fletcher/Martin Greenish). WWT Slimbridge On the estuary this morning two Little Stints and two Curlew Sandpipers amongst 35 Dunlins and 33 Ringed Plovers in flight. Also a male Goshawk around today. (Slimbridge Sightings).
