Berkeley shore A STORM PETREL early afternoon, later off of Sharpness until predated by gulls. Also a FULMAR flew N upriver late morning. (Paul Taylor). A Wheatear, three Yellow Wagtails and 26+ Linnets seen along the sea wall S of Berkeley. (Neil Smart).
WWT Slimbridge A CATTLE EGRET reported from Knott hide early afternoon but flew off and no further sign. (Bob Radford). A Curlew Sandpiper on the Rushy and a further three Curlew Sandpipers with two Ringed Plovers on South Lake. Also a BLACK TERN still and 112 Black-tailed Godwits on South Lake and a Garganey from Zeiss hide again. (Neil Smart). Also today a Knot and a Little Stint and two Swifts flew down the estuary at 8am. (Martin McGill).

Forest of Dean Six Ravens flying around together above Forge Hill, Lydbrook this morning. (Chris Sullivan). At Crabtree Hill a Grasshopper Warbler ringed this morning. Also two Tree Pipits and five Willow Warblers. Recent unusual birds ringed at this site included Sedge Warbler and Lesser Whitethroat. (Rob Husbands).

Coombe Hill Meadows This morning birds included a female Marsh Harrier (pic below), a Sparrowhawk, two Buzzards, a Kestrel, 80+ Canada Geese, 30+ Greylags, a Whitethroat, a Sedge Warbler, two Bullfinches, 40+ Lapwings, 27 Mallards, four Whinchats (pic below), a Green Sandpiper, two Little Egrets, four Grey Herons, two Ravens and a Great Spotted Woodpecker.
