WWT Slimbridge    From Zeiss hide a Peregrine on a kill this afternoon. Also a Sparrowhawk. From Holden Tower five Goldcrests, a Meadow Pipit, a Mistle Thrush, two Bullfinches, a Chiffchaff and a Water Rail calling. Also 38 Bewick’s Swans, 1300 Teal, 1500 Wigeon, a female Marsh Harrier, six Redshank, 160+ Dunlins and 400 Golden Plover. (Roy Widgery). The GREAT GREY SHRIKE again from the Green Lane S of the pools, but wide ranging and elusive, please keep strictly to public footpaths and do not enter the fields. Also a female  Goldeneye, the Yellow-legged Gull still, 80+ Skylarks and a Green Sandpiper. (Nick Goatman).

Sharpness     Two female/immature BLACK REDSTARTS today at the end of Dock Road. Also a pair of Peregrines. (Lee Gardiner).

Forest of Dean     The GREAT GREY SHRIKE still at Russell’s Inclosure this morning at 10:15am viewed from the cycle track. Also several Crossbills in the area. (Robin Hemming).

Berkeley shore     A WATER PIPIT still, also a JACK SNIPE, two Stonechats and a Yellowhammer today. (Paul Taylor).
