Coombe Hill Meadows     A ringed DUSKY WARBLER along the canal 100 yards before the Grundon hide again. The bird was calling and showing well this morning until 12:35pm at least. (Paul Taylor/Andy Jayne/Mark Dowie/David Gibbs/Terry Fenton). Pic by Paul.dusky-warbler-211216

Also two Mute Swans, a Shelduck, 30 Wigeon, 120 Teal, four Grey Herons, a Water Rail calling from Broadmere, a Snipe and 50 Fieldfares. (Mike Smart).

Cinderford     An adult male BLACK REDSTART at Valley Road today. (Piers Suckling).

Forest of Dean     The GREAT GREY SHRIKE still on Crabtree Hill this morning, also 15+ Crossbills and two Goosanders on Woorgreens Lake. (Frank Williams/Piers Suckling). At Old Staple-edge Wood two Hawfinches and at least 30 Bramblings in beech trees at SO650108. (Andy Jayne).
