Coombe Hill Meadows     Five Canada Geese, two Teal, 100 Mallards, a Grey Heron, a Sparrowhawk, 120 Lapwings, four Green Sandpipers, c30 Swallows , at least one Reed Warbler, 3-4 Sedge Warblers, 1+ Whitethroat. 3-4 Willow Warblers, several Chiffchaffs, c20 Starlings and a Yellowhammer singing. Cleeve Hill     Around Wontley Farm a Whinchat, two Stonechats, a Corn Bunting and a Redstart today. (Steve Brown).

Cherington     Near Cherington Lake at least two Spotted Flycatchers today. (Terry Grant).

Cotswold Water Park West     At Shorncote reedbed this afternoon at Pit 85b birds included a Hobby, a Kestrel, two Buzzards, a Kingfisher, four Linnets, four Common Terns, two Cormorants, a Grey Heron, three Reed Warblers, two Sedge Warblers and two Reed Buntings. At Pit 85a birds included six Common Terns (3 juvs), 19 Mallards, seven Mute Swans (5 large cygnets), two Gadwall, two Tufted Ducks, six Long-tailed Tits and a Grey Heron. At Pit 84 seven House Martins and eight Goldfinches. Also today an adult Grass Snake almost a 1m long. (John Fletcher). Pic by John.
