Coombe Hill Meadows Two adult Mute Swans with four cygnets and four other cygnets, 24 Wigeon, 130+ Teal, ten Mallards, ten Shovelers, 16 Grey Herons together, two Snipe, 20 Black-headed Gulls, five Meadow Pipits, four Stonechats (two pairs), at least 20 Redwings and 25 Fieldfares in the hedges, two flocks each of 80 (mainly Fieldfares with a few Redwings) moved over to the NW. Woodchester At Woodchester Park birds included three Buzzards, a Little Egret, eight Long-tailed Tits, a male Blackcap, five Redwings over and a Tawny Owl calling. (Paddy Doyle).
Symonds Yat From Yat Rock viewpoint today the Peregrine pair, three Buzzards, Ravens, two Jays, Mistle Thrushes, two Song Thrushes, Redwings, a Fieldfare, a Great Spotted Woodpecker, a Green Woodpecker, two Goldcrests, Long-tailed Tits, two Marsh Tits and two Mandarins (1m,1f).
