Driffield     Seven Grey Partridges this afternoon at SU072997 on the roadside before flying into the field. Also 2000-3000 Starlings at the piggery E of  Perrott’s Brook, SP0306. (Laurie Pierce).

Ashleworth Ham     This afternoon birds included 80 Teal, 50 Wigeon, three Shovelers (1m, 2f), two Shelducks, three Snipe, a Mute Swan, 78 Canada Geese, two Greylags, 40 Mallards, five Pintails (3m, 2f), 42 Red-legged Partridges, 50 Chaffinches, nine Bramblings, 13 Pied Wagtails, a male Stonechat, a Goldcrest, a Treecreeper, 40 Starlings, a Stock Dove, a Kestrel and two Buzzards. Quedgeley     A garden Kingfisher at 3:40pm, a garden first. (MK). A Raven foraging in the Asda car park in Kingsway yesterday morning and again this morning. (Martin Drew).

Arlingham     Along the river today a male Stonechat, c8 Great Black-backed Gulls, a Cormorant, c5 Lapwings, a Grey Heron and two Golden Plovers. (Antony Seabright).

Cheltenham     Along the River Chelt between Waitrose and Tesco a Little Egret perched in an overhanging tree then flew off S and a Kingfisher flew W along the river. (Keith White).

Hawling     Four Red Kites, ten Buzzards, three Kestrels, Goldfinch, Linnet, Fieldfare and Redwing flocks, a male & female Stonechat, two Yellowhammers, c300 Golden Plovers, two Ravens, Lapwings, two Pied Wagtails, a Wren, a male Bullfinch, a female Brambling and two Roe Deer. Winchcombe     Eight Red Kites working the banks above St.Kenelms House/Well this afternoon, present for a few days. (Bob Fryer).
