At Port Ham/Castlemeads a Barn Owl hunting at dusk, two Kestrels, a Water Rail, two Cetti’s Warblers, three Chiffchaffs, five Stonechats and 82 Reed Buntings counted flying into roost. (Andy Jayne). At Horsebere Brook Flood Storage Lake this afternoon birds included an immature Mute Swan, a pair of Wigeon, a Snipe, a Little Egret, a Grey Heron, 11 Long-tailed Tits, three Water Rails, a Sparrowhawk, a female Kestrel, 22 Meadow Pipits, three Stonechats (2m 1f), 19 Redwings, two Reed Buntings, a Brambling and a Mistle Thrush.
