At Alney Island seven Reed Buntings, a Green Woodpecker, a Stock Dove, a Kestrel, a Buzzard, three Redwings, 650+ Starlings, a Bullfinch, two male Stonechats, a Cormorant, a Raven, a Skylark, two Mistle Thrushes and 18 Teal. Sharpness The GREAT NORTHERN DIVER still on the SARA pool and in the marina area today until 1pm at least. For birders visiting for the Diver, the bird is also being regularly seen in the ‘marina’ area. Please keep strictly to the towpath and/or footpath through this area.
