At the Sailing Lake a pair of Common Terns mating and a Reed Warbler heard singing. (Fiona Leathart). Also a Yellow-legged Gull, a Hobby, a Red Kite, 20+ Swifts, a Cuckoo, a Yellow Wagtail and six Common Terns. (Nick Goatman).

Saul Warth     The GULL-BILLED TERN again off of Hock Ditch at 10:36am but only for 10 minutes when it was lost to view mid-river. (Mark Dowie/Francis Steuck). It was then seen at WWT when it was off of Mid Point until 12:50pm when it flew off inland. (Slimbridge Sightings).

WWT Slimbridge     A Mediterranean Gull on South Lake today. (Kirsty Attrell).

Elmore     A Little Owl beside Elmore Lane West at 1:45am in a thunderstorm. (MK).

Highnam Woods     Still two Nightingales, four Spotted Flycatchers, a Garden Warbler,  Marsh Tits and a Broad-bodied Chaser. (Joe England).

Berkeley shore     A second-summer Mediterranean Gull at 2:05pm then flew off inland. Also a Peregrine this afternoon. (Paul Taylor).

Stroud     Two female Mandarins on the canal at Bowbridge this afternoon, one with ten tiny ducklings, the other had fewer. (Helen Bojaniwska).

Gloucester     Seven Swifts over Elmbridge. (Mark Grieve).

Forest of Dean     A Red Kite circling for 5+ minutes being hounded by crows at Mitcheldean opposite Stenders nature reserve. (Rachel Potter).

Cleeve Hill     Late morning two Corn Buntings, a Grey Partridge and a Grass Snake. (Graham Tompsett).

Coombe Hill Meadows     This afternoon a Greenshank, two Redshanks, a Curlew, two Little Ringed Plovers, a Cuckoo and a Reed Warbler. (Graham Tompsett).

Eastleach     This morning a Spotted Flycatcher at the entrance of King’s Hay and at Coate Mill a Little Egret, a singing Reed Bunting and a Grey Wagtail. (Steve Brown).
