Saturday 7th July 2018

Dymock     Two Common Cranes dropped in at Brooms Green near Dymock at 5:30am but were disturbed by a cow and left southwards. (Charles Martell).

WWT Slimbridge     A SPOONBILL flew around the reserve mid-morning and landed on the estuary. Also eight Little Egrets. (Tom Weston-McClung). The juvenile Cuckoo still being fed by a pair of Reed Warblers just before Willow hide in the canopy above the path. (Paul Masters).

Twyning     At Upham Meadow a Curlew, three Oystercatchers and 70 Lapwings today. (Mike Smart).

Forthampton     25 Swifts feeding just W of Forthampton Church from 8-9 pm. (David & Sandra Spicer).
