WWT Slimbridge     Five Whinchats, a Wheatear, a Lesser Whitethroat and a Whitethroat from Holden Tower. (Ian Hull).

Coombe Hill Meadows     First WeBS count of the autumn, birds included 83 Greylags and 55 Canada Geese coming in to roost, 140 Teal, five Shovelers, four Snipe and a Green Sandpiper. Also two Little Owls calling and c20 Swallows gathering at dusk. (Mike Smart).
