Ashleworth Ham     This afternoon birds included four Snipe, 47 Teal, 72 Wigeon, a Canada Goose, four Shovelers, six Mallards, four Grey Herons, 25 Chaffinches, a Brambling, a Long-tailed Tit, a male Reed Bunting, 12 Fieldfares, a Song Thrush, a Sparrowhawk and a Great Spotted Woodpecker heard. Coombe Hill Meadows     This evening from Long Pool hide c300 Greylags came in at 4:30pm and c100 Canada Geese came in from 5pm but too dark to see whether the Greenland Whitefront was with them. Also seven Snipe and three JACK SNIPE, c100 Fieldfares and a Tawny Owl calling. (Mike Smart).
