Frampton     On Court Lake this evening four CATTLE EGRETS, two Great White Egrets, six Little Egrets, two Goldeneyes, three Pochards, 55 Gadwalls, 64 Tufted Ducks, two Little Grebes and two Great Crested Grebes. (Nick Goatman/Jonathan Bull). A Stonechat and a Little Egret from Splatt Bridge 3:30pm. (Jonathan Bull).

Fairford    At least five Chiffchaffs beside the River Coln including birds in song. Also a Snipe, a displaying Sparrowhawk, a Little Egret and a Goosander. (Ian Ralphs).

Cotswold Water Park East    13 Goosanders on Pit 104 today. (Ian Ralphs).

Chapman’s Cross     A Barn Owl flying near the road on the A419 near Sapperton at 7:15pm. (Malcolm Balster).

Forest of Dean     Crossbills at Parkend church today including two males. (Dot Jones).

Quedgeley     The local Raven calling loudly from Plane trees in Tesco car park at 12:15pm. (MK). Pic by Mike.

Berkeley     A Great Spotted Woodpecker in the garden today, a garden first. (Andrew Jones).

My name is Mike King and have lived all my life in Gloucestershire. I am happiest birding around Frampton but I especially love Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
