Gloucester This afternoon at 3:30pm a Red Kite drifted northwards across Robinswood Hill. (Ian Elphick).
Winchcombe At Langley Lane at midday a Greenfinch, a Linnet, a Great Spotted Woodpecker, a Buzzard, three Blackcaps, a Chiffchaff and 20+ Swallows and House Martins. (Stuart Galey).
Coombe Hill Meadows This evening 16 Mute Swans, a pair of Canada Geese with five goslings, a pair of Shelducks, a pair of Gadwalls, 30 Mallards including two females with three and seven ducklings, a drake Shoveler, a pair of Tufted Ducks, the Coot nest on south scrape has hatched, a pair of Oystercatchers with two chicks, 15+ Lapwings including five young, at least four adult Redshanks and a fledged chick, four Curlews came in to roost, a Cuckoo and at least three Sedge Warblers still.
