WWT Slimbridge A CATTLE EGRET flew over the Holden Walkway towards South Lake at 2:30pm. (Slimbridge Sightings).

Coombe Hill Meadows This morning a Green Sandpiper, a pair of Oystercatchers with two chicks, a flock of 15 Lapwings, a female Lapwing still sitting, one with two full grown-chicks, another with four nearly half-grown chicks, a pair of adult Redshanks with three fledged juveniles, a male Curlew, 16 Mute Swans, a pair of Canada Geese with five goslings, two pairs of Shelducks, a pair of Gadwalls, a male Shoveler, a pair of Tufted Ducks, the Coot nest has hatched six chicks, a Cuckoo and a Reed Warbler.
