Aylburton Common    A Red Kite circling over the garden at 9:20am today. (Martin Vaisey/Beth Goldsworthy).

Forest of Dean     A Red Kite over Mitcheldean at 1:30pm, also five House Martins. (Chris Keeling). A Red Kite flew low over Longhope village centre at 5:50pm. (Angela Carswell).

Hucclecote    At 2pm today along Churchdown Lane a Hobby above the tree line for a few seconds then veered off towards the hill. (Ken Hurcombe).

Frampton     At Splatt Bridge at 10am a Tawny Owl carrying a male Blackbird in its talons from the canal hedge into Nebrow Wood. Also two Cuckoos, one calling regularly for at least 20 minutes and flying from the 100-Acre to Nebrow Hill Wood and also towards the reedbed at Splatt Bridge. Barnsley SSSI     Three Redstarts (2m), three Willow Warblers, a Blackcap, three Green Woodpeckers, a Great Spotted Woodpecker, Yellowhammers, a Corn Buntings, two Red Kites, two Buzzards, Swifts, House Martins, Swallows and a Jay. (Richard Williams).

Cirencester     A Green Woodpecker by Riverside Walk today. (Felicity Cobb).

Leighterton     No sign of the Quail along Monarch’s Way near ST8303590662 between 5:15-6:30am. Three Corn Buntings and a Roe buck here. (MK).
