Leighterton     Along the Monarch’s Way two QUAIL calling at ST 83121 90585 at 9:20pm and at ST 83018 90675 at 9:35pm. Also 6+ Corn Buntings, Yellowhammer and Skylark. (Roger Gillespie).

Uley     A Barn Owl quartering the fields near Uley this evening. (Katharine Goatman).

WWT Slimbridge     The SPOONBILL still from Zeiss hide today. Also around the grounds 64 Avocets, 3+ Green Sandpipers, two Bar-tailed Godwits, a Ringed Plover and three Little Ringed Plovers. (Slimbridge Sightings).

Maisemore     From Church Road near and around the pool and to the weir on the Severn this afternoon two released Wood Ducks, a male Red Crested Pochard of unknown origin, 11 Mallards including seven large ducklings, seven Moorhens (4ads, 3 chicks), a Grey Heron, a Kingfisher, four Great Spotted Woodpeckers, five Song Thrushes, six Blackcaps, five Chiffchaffs, four Goldfinches, five Linnets, a Sparrowhawk and a Buzzard.
