Sunday 14th July 2019

Tresham     A QUAIL heard calling at 9pm from the road just to the W of the village coming from the cereal field at ST798910. (Vic Polley). This morning a Red Kite, three Corn Buntings, ten Swifts and a Whitethroat family from the farm track to the S of the village and a Spotted Flycatcher in the village centre. (Geoff Moyser).

Leighterton     Two Little Owls near the base of a tree by the road to Knockdown at ST824906, look SW from the metal gate. Also six Swifts over the village. (Geoff Moyser).

Frampton pools     A Green Sandpiper, four Oystercatchers, a Yellow-legged Gull, all five Common Tern young are flying around, two young Black-headed Gulls are doing well, 12 Swifts, four Little Egrets and five Grey Herons. (Nick Goatman).

Nailsworth    A Red Kite circling over Forest Green at 10:40am. (Lyn Niblett).

Forthampton     Two Red Kites today. (Sarah Loaring).

Cirencester     Ten Swifts over the town this morning. (Felicity Cobb).
