Frampton pools    This evening on the Sailing Lake 18 Common Sandpipers and a Green Sandpiper. (Nick Goatman). Around the Sailing Lake this afternoon three Little Egrets, a Grey Heron, an adult Yellow-legged Gull, nine Common Terns, two juvenile Black-headed Gulls on a nest platform, a female Tufted Duck with four small ducklings, a pair of Great Crested Grebes with four young, two Whitethroats and a Buzzard.  (MK). Saul Warth     At high tide a Common Sandpiper, 10+ Goldfinches, two Skylarks, a Cormorant and two Common Terns. Also Brown Hawkers, an Emperor, Common Darters and Ruddy Darters in Hock Ditch and a male Broad-bodied Chaser on the Warth. (MK). Pic by Mike.

Coombe Hill Meadows    Three Garganeys today, an adult female and two juveniles, two on the left hand pool and one on right. Also a Wigeon and a juvenile Yellow Wagtail. (Jeremy Squire/Ian Hull).

Charlton Kings     A Red Kite over at 1pm. (Dave Jeynes).

Whitecroft     A V formation of six Cormorant flew over from Lydney towards Parkend at 9:15am. Also Small Copper butterfly briefly in garden. (Bernie Dumbleton).

Winchcombe     A family of five Kestrels (2 adults & 3 juveniles) hunting together at Langley Hill. Also c30 Swifts screaming together over Winchcombe. (Phil Cull).
