Forest of Dean     In the Yew Tree Break/Crabtree Hill area early evening two Whinchats, two Redstarts, five Tree Pipits, four Spotted Flycatchers, five Whitethroats, seven Blackcaps, three Willow Warblers, four Chiffchaffs, three Hawfinches, seven Crossbills, nine Stonechats and two Painted Ladies. Frampton pools     An OSPREY flew NW low over the fields and Sailing Lake from the Dursley direction at 3:55pm. (Dean Lord).

WWT Slimbridge     On the Rushy five Snipe, two Green Sandpipers, c3 Yellow Wagtails and a Wheatear. (Jonathan Bull). From the Zeiss hide this morning a female/immature Marsh Harrier, putting everything up, including a Greenshank a Whimbrel, and 11 Curlews, all  juveniles, four of with head-started rings. Guscar Rocks     At high tide this afternoon 650 Curlews, a Black-tailed Godwit, a Turnstone, c50 Dunlin and an immature female Peregrine. (Mike Smart).

Nailsworth     This evening 145+ Swifts and 220+ House Martins flying S between 4:30pm and 6:50pm. (Terry Grant).

Cheltenham     At Naunton Park Monday/Tuesday a Tawny Owl calling at 11pm and at 3:45am in back gardens. (Steve Brown).
