Symonds Yat     From Yat Rock viewpoint the Peregrine pair, a Sparrowhawk, four Buzzards, a pair of Ravens, Swallows, House Martins, a Jay, four Mandarins and a mating pair of Stock Doves. Other sightings included a Bank Vole, a Hornet, Painted Lady, Small Tortoiseshell, Large White, Speckled Wood and Red Admiral butterflies. Sharpness     A Greenshank, two Black-tailed Godwits, a Golden Plover, a Ringed Plover, three Wheatears, five Whitethroats, two Sedge Warblers and a Lesser Whitethroat today. (Andy Jordan).

Painswick Beacon     Birds today included Meadow Pipit, Spotted Flycatcher, Green Woodpecker, Great Spotted Woodpecker, Marsh Tit, Greenfinch, Bullfinch, Mistle Thrush, Common Gull and Nuthatch. (Sam Walker).

Cherington     At Cherington lake and surrounding woods this afternoon birds included three Kingfishers (1 juv), two Bullfinches, five Goldcrests, seven Long-tailed Tits, a Great Spotted Woodpecker, a Tawny Owl hooting, two Nuthatches, a Chiffchaff and a Swallow. (John Fletcher/Jake King).
