Saul Warth     This afternoon a Little Stint, two Dunlins, 15 Ringed Plovers, 200+ Curlews, a Buzzard, a Peregrine, two Kestrels,  two Wheatears, 50+ Goldfinches and a Small Copper. (MK).

Aylburton Common     At least 50 House Martins feeding over the garden at 9:50am. (Martin Vaisey).

WWT Slimbridge     On the Rushy a drake Mandarin, three Spotted Redshanks, five Greenshanks and an Avocet. At Zeiss hide two Whooper Swans roosted but flew off S, a Water Rail, a Cetti’s Warbler, the SPOONBILL and 79 Black-tailed Godwits. From Middle Point and the Summer Walkway a Stonechat, a Whinchat, two Wheatears, 10+ Meadow Pipits, six Skylarks, three Swallows, a Great White Egret, two Little Egrets, four Golden Plovers and 55 over also the Ross’s Goose. From the Robbie Garnett hide c200 Teal, nine Shovelers, 20 Greylags, c20 Gadwalls, a Little Egret, c40 Black-tailed Godwits, two Curlews and c300 Starlings flying towards the river in small groups.
