Frampton Vis-mig from the towpath N of Splatt Bridge between 7-10:30am included a high count of 1638 Meadow Pipits, 486 Linnets, 108 Swallows, 56 Alba Wagtails, a Grey Wagtail, 12 Reed Buntings, three Jays and four Skylarks all flew SW, also a Ruff, a Golden Plover and a Greenshank. At the pools this morning eight Sand Martins, three Swallows, two House Martins, 105 Meadow Pipits, 38 Skylarks, 200+ Goldfinches, 75+ Linnets, 18 Reed Buntings, seven Chiffchaffs, four Cetti’s Warblers, a Grey Wagtail, two Mistle Thrushes, a Blackcap and the adult Yellow-legged Gull. Saul Warth This afternoon 11 Grey Plovers and five Ringed Plovers fairly close in. Also 6+ Curlews, a Wheatear, 40+ Goldfinches, a Meadow Pipit, 50+ Carrion Crows, a Grey Wagtail and a Kestrel. (MK).

Frampton Mansell area c200 Golden Plovers and a Lapwing and a Peregrine over this afternoon. 25 Linnets, two Yellowhammers and a Wheatear in the hedgerow off Emmerson Lane. A FIELDFARE at Beacon Farm in the hedge of the field known as the Big Dipper. A Red Kite over the Jolly Nice Farm Shop at 3pm. (Michael Cook).
Coombe Hill Meadows This afternoon a Great White Egret, four Grey Herons, 115 Greylags, two Jays, Teal, Mute Swan, a Mistle Thrush, three Swallows and a small group of Meadow Pipits. (Eric Harris).
