Halmore     A male Yellow Wagtail on a phone wire this morning, a feeding flock of c25 Pied Wagtails, c15 Meadow Pipits and c250 Canada Geese flew W. (Chris Newton).

Forest of Dean    A shrike sp at Kensley today just by 90 degree bend in the tarmac road at Crabtree Hill but bad light prevented ID. Also 20 Greenfinches, 40 Lesser Redpolls, 12 Crossbills, 20 Linnets, 20 Siskins, a Chaffinch, 20 Goldfinches and 12 Meadow Pipits. (Rob Husbands).

Stinchcombe Hill     25+ Redwings, a Sand Martin with two House Martins heading S and a Firecrest in the bonfire copse. (James Robinson).

WWT Slimbridge     A Bittern flew into the reedbed between Van den Bovenkamp hide and Kingfisher hide. On the Rushy three Spotted Redshanks, a Greenshank, ten Redshanks, 15 Black-tailed Godwits, c50 Teal and an Avocet. From Zeiss hide three White-fronted Geese, the SPOONBILL and two Great White Egrets. 11 Grey Plovers, three Little Stints and a Wheatear at Middle Point. The Ross’s Goose still on the Dumbles. Awre     This morning a Brambling, two Rock Pipits, a Wheatear, two Chiffchaffs, a Blackcap, a Stonechat, eight Reed Buntings, five Siskins, two Grey Wagtails, seven Pied Wagtails, 32 Skylarks, 75+ Meadow Pipits, five Song Thrushes, six Jays, five Little Egrets, two Lapwings, 29 Curlews, 14 Ringed Plovers and 70+ Dunlins. Painswick Beacon     This morning three Hawfinches, eight Bramblings, 42 Redwings and 24 Jays S in small high groups. (Francis Steuck).

Coombe Hill Meadows     17 Mute Swans, 527 Greylags, a Canada Goose, 24 Wigeon, six Gadwalls, 27 Teal, eight Mallards, three Shovelers, two Grey Herons, three Cormorants, five Moorhens, a Kestrel, a Snipe, a Kingfisher, small numbers of Skylarks passing over, at least four Stonechats, two Blackcaps in sub-song, a Chiffchaff and a Reed Bunting.
