Cirencester Three Bramblings, 2 males and a female, in a flock 30+ Chaffinches feeding and bathing in the puddles in the gate to the polo field at SO994029 and 100+ Redwings and a few Fieldfares along with numerous Great, Blue, Coal and Long-tailed Tits feeding in a large holly tree along the track heading back towards Cirencester just SE of Ewe Pens Farm. WWT Slimbridge Two Little Stints from the Zeiss hide. (Roy Kinchin). From the Estuary Tower the putative Todd’s Canada Goose showing well early afternoon, a Peregrine, three Russian White-fronted Geese, two Greenland White-fronted Geese and 14 Bewick’s Swans. Coombe Hill Meadows From Grundon hide large flocks of Fieldfares and Redwings, eight Mute Swans, four Grey Herons, ten Shovelers, 12+ Wigeon, two Stock Doves, a Redshank, a Dunlin, a Raven, a Reed Bunting, 20+ Lapwings, a Skylark, two Pied Wagtails, a Water Rail and a Cetti’s Warbler. Forest of Dean At Woorgreens/Crabtree Hill six Siskins, three Goldcrests, a male Reed Bunting, three pairs of Stonechats, a Raven, a Jay, 50+ Redwing and five female Roe Deer. Also a male Bullfinch at Cannop Ponds Stoneworks. (Paul Clark).
