Lydney    Three Commic Terns and a LITTLE TERN flew down river at New Grounds, also three Dunlins and two Oystercatchers. A Bar-tailed Godwit, a Whimbrel flew upriver. (Dan Watson).

WWT Slimbridge     A LITTLE TERN off of Middle Point. Two Spotted Redshanks on the Bottom New Piece distantly from Estuary Tower. (Mark Hobson). A WOOD SANDPIPER and an immature SPOONBILL around the grounds. (Slimbridge Sightings).

Purton     A drake COMMON SCOTER floating N upriver on the tide past Purton at 9:26am. Also two Whimbrels, three Dunlins, a Curlew, three Yellow Wagtails, two Jays, 16 Swallows, 18 House Martins, a Siskin, two Whitethroats and a Garden Warbler. (Francis Steuck).

Frampton pools     Three Common Terns, a Redstart, a Garden Warbler, a Whimbrel, six Lesser Whitethroats, 15 Whitethroats, 25 Chiffchaffs, 36 Blackcaps, ten Reed Warblers, four Sedge Warblers, seven Cetti’s Warblers, a Yellow Wagtail, two Oystercatchers, 100+ Sand Martins, 20+ Swallows, a House Martin and a Common Sandpiper today. Coombe Hill Meadows     A Mute Swan, seven Greylags, six Canada Geese, eight Teal, four Gadwalls, 20 Mallards, six Tufted Ducks, a Grey Heron, three Coots, four Oystercatchers, four Avocets, six Lapwings, at least three Little Ringed Plovers, two Curlews, at least three Redshanks, a Cuckoo, ten Swallows, five House Martins, five Sand Martins, a Redstart, at least one Cetti’s Warbler, a Reed Warbler, several singing Blackcaps, Whitethroats, Lesser Whitethroats and Chiffchaffs and two or three Reed Buntings.
