WWT Slimbridge    Two breeding plumage Spotted Redshanks and a Curlew Sandpiper on the Top New Piece viewed from the Zeiss hide. A Barn Owl out hunting this morning viewed from the Kingfisher hide also two Kingfishers. (Roberta Goodall/Mike Davis).

Saul Warth     At high tide 15 Oystercatchers, six Ringed Plovers, seven Curlews, three Little Egrets and four Ravens. A Red Kite over Fretherne nurseries at 9:50am. Also a Large Skipper. (MK).

Forest of Dean     This afternoon in the Old Lightmoor Colliery area six Wood Warblers including a juvenile, a Firecrest, two Treecreepers, a Crossbill, a Willow Warbler, three Swallows, 8+ House Martins, two Ravens, two Stock Doves and a Song Thrush. At Cyril Hart Arboretum a Firecrest, two Goldcrests and a Nuthatch. At Yew Tree Brake a Garden Warbler and two Tree Pipits.
