Epney     Today the TURTLE DOVE for its 20th day still in gardens behind the Anchor Inn. Please park sensibly by the entrance opposite the seawall or on the road without blocking access and not in the pub unless you are using it. Frampton pools     Two Great White Egrets, an adult Yellow-legged Gull, a Green Sandpiper, 12 Blackcaps, 20 Chiffchaffs, a Whitethroat, 20+ Sand Martins, a Little Grebe,  a new brood of five Tufted Ducks, 120 Barnacle Geese, the Ross’s Goose, two Ravens and six Common Terns today. Saul Warth     Pre-high tide this morning 14 Avocets, 12 Dunlins, a Sanderling, six Oystercatchers, six Little Egrets, two Grey Herons, c60 Shelducks, c90 Curlews, three Kestrels and six Swallows. (Paul Masters/Mark Hobson). Later five Common Sandpipers, a Grey Plover, a Bar-tailed Godwit, 16 Oystercatcher and two Mediterranean Gulls. (Terry Grant).

Painswick     Today between 8am and 11am, 675 Swifts over the house. Also a Red Kite circling overhead at 10:40am. (John Fleming).

Tewkesbury     At Upper Lode birds included a Kingfisher, a Green Woodpecker, a Great Spotted Woodpecker, a Chiffchaff, a Blackcap, a Chaffinch, a Greenfinch, a Goldfinch, a Swallow, a Swift and a Cormorant. Also a Banded Demoiselle. (Les Ditchburn).
