Bourton-on-the-Water     A female LESSER SPOTTED WOODPECKER flying into a stand of crab apple trees by the south pits. (Andy Lewis). 

Epney     The TURTLE DOVE on the roof of the Anchor Inn at Epney at 6:53am.  Please park sensibly by the entrance opposite the seawall or on the road without blocking access and not in the pub unless you are using it. Thank you. (MK).

Moreton Valence     A Kingfisher at Parkend Bridge at 6:50am. (MK).

Saul Warth     At high tide this morning 22 Avocets, 15 Black-tailed Godwits, two Whimbrels, 88 Curlews, a Greenshank heard, a Redshank, a Common Sandpiper, six Oystercatchers, three Common Terns, a Peregrine and a Wheatear. (Mark Hobson/Duerden Cormack/MK). At 10:10am a Red Kite over Hock Ditch with four Buzzards and a Kestrel. (MK).

Frampton pools     Six Great White Egrets, 22 Little Egrets, four Grey Herons and 14 Barnacle Geese on Court Lake. On the Sailing Lake an adult and a juvenile ARCTIC TERN, a Green Sandpiper, the Yellow-legged Gull, eight Little Grebes, eight juvenile Reed Warblers, 23 Blackcaps 30 Chiffchaffs and two Willow Warblers. This evening on Court Lake a Common Tern, two Swifts, 14 Sand Martins, ten Gadwalls and a Mole above ground. (Nick Goatman). Also on Court Lake a Kingfisher and a Tufted Duck with five ducklings. Stonehouse    Late afternoon a Red Kite high over the garden then drifted towards Selsley. Also a Sparrowhawk. (Paul Sutton).

Stinchcombe Hill    Three Redstarts (1 m, 2 fem/1w), a Whinchat, at least 20 Spotted Flycatchers, a White Wagtail with a Pied Wagtail flock, two Whitethroats, two Willow Warblers, six Swifts and lots of Chiffchaffs this afternoon. (James Robinson).

Ashleworth Ham    A CES ringing session this morning 38 birds caught including a juvenile Kingfisher, two Redstarts, nine Whitethroats, a Lesser Whitethroat, four Blackcaps, two Chiffchaffs, a Willow Warbler, a Treecreeper, two Bullfinches and three Reed Buntings. On the reserve two Mallards, a Grey Heron, a Moorhen and a Willow Warbler. (Mike Smart/Mervyn Greening).

Cleeve Hill     Wontley Farm to Warden’s Wood, a Red Kite, a Raven, a Green
Woodpecker, a Great Spotted Woodpecker, a Whinchat and family parties of both Stonechats and Whitethroats. (Steve Brown).

Cotswolds     Halfway along the road between Charlton Abbots and Roel Gate, at the small wood, two Buzzards, two Redstarts, a Nuthatch and a Treecreeper. (Steve Brown).
