WWT Slimbridge    From Stephen Kirk and Rushy Hides a WOOD SANDPIPER, a Green Sandpiper, a Ruff and two Snipe. Other birds seen today included a Greenshank from the Rushy, a Peregrine, a Grey Plover, six Turnstones and 2+ Sanderlings from the Estuary Walk and two SPOONBILLS, two Spotted Redshanks and two Little Stints with the Dunlins from Zeiss hide. Epney     The TURTLE DOVE still in gardens behind the Anchor Inn. Please park sensibly by the entrance opposite the seawall or on the road without blocking access and not in the pub unless you are using it. Thank you. (John Raven).

Frampton pools     This evening seven Great White Egrets, four Little Egrets, five Grey Herons, two adult Yellow-legged Gulls, three Lesser Whitethroats, 30+ House Martins and five Swallows. (Nick Goatman).

Edge     At Rudge Hill NR this morning 8+ Spotted Flycatchers in groups (including young) spread over the common feeding and calling. Other birds included Great Spotted Woodpecker, a Whitethroat, a female Blackcap, a Bullfinch, Linnets, Goldfinches, a Skylark, Swallows, Long-tailed Tits, Coal Tits, a Chiffchaff, a Treecreeper, a Nuthatch and a Buzzard. Also a few Common Blues and Brown Argus. (Jon Dexter).

Cherington     Around the lake and around surrounding wooded areas this afternoon birds included two Spotted Flycatchers, three Linnets, two Grey Wagtails, a Treecreeper, two Great Spotted Woodpeckers, a Sparrowhawk, a Red Kite, a Buzzard, a Grey Heron, five Moorhens, two Canada Geese and three Mallards. Stinchcombe Hill     At least two Spotted Flycatchers near Drakestone Viewpoint this afternoon. (Mike Davis). Also three Redstarts, a Coal Tit and a Red Kite. (Jonathan Bull).

Winchcombe     A Little Owl calling repeatedly, probably from the tall trees in the cemetery. (Gill Worthington).

Brimscombe     Two Ravens circling and calling high above the village at 11:30am. (Nikki Smith).

Coombe Hill Meadows     This afternoon a few Grey Herons and six juvenile Long-tailed Tits. Also a Southern Hawker near the car park. (Terry Richer).

Gretton     A female Southern Hawker egg-laying in the garden pond this afternoon, also a Sparrowhawk and two Ravens overhead. (Roger Wasley).
