WWT Slimbridge     A BITTERN from the Van de Bovenkamp hide late morning. (Eric Harris). This afternoon on the Rushy at a WOOD SANDPIPER, a Green Sandpiper and a Greenshank. (Terry Stevenson). Around the grounds an Avocet, seven Snipe, an adult male Sparrowhawk, two Greenshanks, five Green Sandpipers, a WOOD SANDPIPER, five Yellow Wagtails, six Cranes, a Peregrine, two SPOONBILLS, a CURLEW SANDPIPER and two Little Stints with a group of Dunlins, 100’s of Black-tailed Godwits and a Ruddy Shelduck (or hybrid) flew over late in the afternoon. Epney     The TURTLE DOVE still between Longney and Epney this morning feeding in a horse paddock and then later near the Anchor Inn. On the river 176 Canada Geese and a juvenile Great Black-backed Gull. Please park sensibly by the entrance opposite the seawall or on the road without blocking access and not in the pub unless you are using it. Thank you. (Neil Smart).

Ebworth     On the main drive to the National Trust Ebworth Centre at SO909119 two Whinchats and eight Wheatears. Yesterday three Whinchats and four Wheatears. (Tom Griffin).

Forest of Dean     Between The Pludds and Ruardean this morning a Sparrowhawk, a Raven, two Redstarts, a Wheatear, 70+ Goldfinches and five Tree Pipits flew S. (Andy Jayne).

Walmore Common     A Hobby, a Redstart, three Whinchats and a Red Kite near the Severn Bore pub. (Andy Jayne).

Frampton     At Court Lake this evening six Great White Egrets, 11 Little Egrets and a Common Tern. (Nick Goatman).

Coombe Hill Meadows     This afternoon a Red Kite, a Sparrowhawk, two Buzzards, four Stonechats, a family party and c15 Yellow Wagtails amongst the cattle. (Ian Hull).

Saul Warth     At high tide early afternoon 19 Avocets, 28 Black-tailed Godwits, 25 Ringed Plovers, a Whimbrel, 150+ Curlews, four Oystercatchers, eight Little Egrets and seven Grey Herons. (MK).
