Forest of Dean     A Green Sandpiper again this morning in flight from the dragonfly ponds towards Woorgreens Lake. Also nearby yesterday at least two Redstarts. (Frank Williams).

WWT Slimbridge     This morning on the Rushy two Greenshanks, a Spotted Redshank, at least five Ruff, 60+ Black-tailed Godwits, an Avocet and a Green Sandpiper. (Mike Davis).

Frampton     At the Sailing Lake the adult Yellow-legged Gull still, a Green Sandpiper, four Little Grebes, six Great Crested Grebes including two stripy young, 20+ House Martins, eight Chiffchaffs, two singing and two Mistle Thrushes. Also a Red Underwing moth. (MK).

Stinchcombe Hill     Three Redstarts, seven Spotted Flycatchers, a Wheatear, a female Kestrel, two Meadow Pipits and the first Grey Wagtail of the autumn today. (James Robinson).

Painswick     At Cud Hill SO 86191247 below Painswick Beacon hillfort from 6:15am to 1pm highlights were a Hobby, 5450 Swallows, 380 House Martins, 15 Sand Martins, all flying S and eight Crossbills flew E. (John Fleming).

Slimbridge village     A pair of Peregrines at 3:15pm. (Jamie Warren).

Ebworth     A Whinchat and a Wheatear along the Ebworth drive this morning. (Tom Griffin).

Stonehouse     A Dipper on the Frome near Beard’s Mill. A Buzzard, a Chiffchaff, a Great Spotted Woodpecker and a Kingfisher near Bond’s Mill. A Grey Heron in the field below the Ocean. A Hummingbird hawkmoth at Nutshell Bridge. A Migrant Hawker in the garden. (Paul Sutton).
