Saul Warth     A WRYNECK at Hock Ditch at 10:05am then flew into the line of Sycamores leading towards Hock Cliff at SO 73688 08709. (MK). Still there at 8pm (Mark Hobson) but not seen all day. An OSPREY at 9:50am flew towards the Trust. At high tide 22 Avocets, three Redshanks, a Black-tailed Godwit, 134+ Curlews, two Common Sandpipers, a Ringed Plover heard, 15 Little Egrets, 700+ Black-headed Gulls, six Cormorants, 30 Shelducks and a Mute Swan oddly in the high tide roost. Also three Kestrels, two Chiffchaffs, three Whitethroats, two Blackcaps, ten Linnets, 20 Goldfinches, 16 Swallows, a Sand Martin, a Mistle Thrush, six Pied Wagtails and a Grey Wagtail. (MK). This afternoon a Redstart and a Spotted Flycatcher by the Sewage Works. (Roberta Goodall).

Chavenage Lane     An adult male HEN HARRIER flying low over fields at 4pm. It rapidly climbed and gained a great height before flying out of sight, heading NNE, at 4:10pm. (Terry & Anne Grant).

Purton     A possible Blue-winged Teal flying low and close downriver at 6:55am. (Francis Steuck/John Fleming).

WWT Slimbridge     On the Rushy two Greenshanks, five Ruff, two Kingfishers, two Snipe, an Avocet, 20+ Black-tailed Godwits and 15 Redshanks. From the Estuary Tower and Middle Point, 70 + Curlews, eight Little Egrets, three Grey Herons, three Yellow Wagtails, six Meadow Pipits, a Peregrine, a female Kestrel and three Buzzards. At South Finger, two SPOONBILLS, 70+ Black-tailed Godwits, 50+ Lapwings, two Cetti’s Warblers, two Reed Warblers and two Buzzards. On South Lake, four Snipe, 25 Lapwings, three Cormorants, a Green Sandpiper and a Buzzard being harassed by three Carrion Crows. (Steve Pullen).

Cleeve Hill     Early morning two Wheatears, a Whinchat and a Yellow Wagtail. (Greg Mabbett).

Berkeley    Four Whinchats and three Wheatears on the north side of the Pill. (Andy Jordan).

Stinchcombe Hill     This morning 8-10+ Spotted Flycatchers on the S side looking towards Wotton. Also a Bullfinch, Skylarks, Swallows and House Martins. (Mike Davis).

Ozleworth     At the church 60+ House Martins still feeding young in nests, three Ravens and two Buzzards over and two Green Woodpeckers. (Paul Sutton).

Eastington     A pair of Dippers on the Frome near the church and four Buzzards circling. (Paul Sutton).

Stonehouse     A Kingfisher near Bond’s Mill. (Paul Sutton).
