WWT Slimbridge     On the Rushy two Spotted Redshanks, two Greenshanks and a Kingfisher. From the Estuary Tower a Peregrine and two small dark geese probably hybrid Canada x Barnacle Geese. From Zeiss/Van der Bovencamp hides two SPOONBILLS, a Marsh Harrier, a Hobby, a Spotted Redshank, a Snipe, three Green Sandpipers, a Wood Sandpiper and four Ruff. On South Lake a female Garganey and a Common Gull. (Martin Wightman/Mike Davis/Mark Hobson). At least five Yellow Wagtails including juveniles and a female Reed Bunting from the far end of the Summer Walkway this morning. At least 40 Swallows in the area. A female and a juvenile Marsh Harrier active around the Bottom New Piece, flights crossing at one point. 17 Common Cranes on the Dumbles. Two Lesser Whitethroats in bushes below the Estuary Tower. (Chris Newton). On the Canoe Safari a low-flying Peregrine, a Water Vole and Migrant Hawkers. From Middle Point a Greenshank, 22 Black-tailed Godwits, 50 Curlews, five Little Egrets, three Yellow Wagtails and a Kestrel. (Mark Hobson).

Frampton pools     This morning a female HEN HARRIER over S, two Hobbies, an adult Yellow-legged Gull, a Tree Pipit and two Yellow Wagtails over, two Lesser Whitethroats, two Whitethroats, 35 Chiffchaffs, 17 Blackcaps, a Mediterranean Gull, two Green Sandpipers, two Pochards, four Great White Egrets, 16 Little Grebes and 150+ Sand Martins. Stinchcombe Hill     This morning four Redstarts (three males), ten Spotted Flycatchers, a Wheatear, a Meadow Pipit over, 18 Pied Wagtails and slow but steady movement of Swallows heading W. (James Robinson).

The Camp     At Rough Bank N.R. at SO914087 this morning three Redstarts, seven Spotted Flycatchers, four Marsh Tits, two Blackcaps, seven Chiffchaffs, a Goldcrest, two Bullfinches, a Green Woodpecker and six Fallow Deer. (Paul Masters/Mark Dowie).

Saul Warth     Late morning on the falling tide 52 Black-tailed Godwits, ten Avocets, 14 Ringed Plovers, 24 Dunlins, 40+ Curlews, Common Sandpiper, three Little Egrets, three Grey Herons and 70+ Shelducks. Also a Sparrowhawk, a Kestrel, a Lesser Whitethroat, a male Blackcap, 4+ Chiffchaffs, two Willow Warblers, two Swallows, a Pied Wagtail and two Grey Wagtails. (MK).

Cleeve Hill    16 Stonechats, six Whinchats, six Wheatears and a Redstart this evening. (Greg Mabbett).

Stroud     A male and female Peregrine circling over the town this morning. (Terry Grant).

Nailsworth     A Hobby hunting over the Nailsworth Valley this afternoon. (Terry Grant).

Longney     At Longney Crib sands viewed from the Severn way this afternoon a Great White Egret, a Little Egret, four Grey Herons, 203 Canada Geese, 30 Mallards, a Raven, 250+ mixed corvids, mainly Rooks, with Crows and Jackdaws and 500+ gulls mainly Lesser Black-backed and Black-headed Gulls and six Common Gulls.
