Chalford     A female Goosander on the leat this afternoon at SO889024. The Leat is part of Belvedere Mill. (Jeremy Nottingham).

Saul Warth     This morning 20+ Yellow Wagtails, four Pied Wagtails and a Grey Wagtail, the first Whinchat this year, a female Wheatear, seven Meadow Pipits, the first of the autumn, a male Blackcap and four Chiffchaffs, one singing. At high tide six Black-tailed Godwits, 205+ Curlews, six Dunlins, two Common Sandpipers and 105 Shelducks. (MK).

Rodborough     Two Whinchats on the Common c300m E of the fort this morning. (Francis Steuck).

Forest of Dean    At Cannop ponds this morning 4/5 Spotted Flycatchers in Oaks over the upper pond, six House Martins, two Little Grebes, three Ravens and several Mandarins and a large Grass Snake crossing the top end of the lower lake. (Alan Waterman/Mark Hobson).

Arlingham     A Whinchat, a Redstart, two Wheatears, two Yellow Wagtails, a male Kestrel, lots of Chiffchaffs and a Little Owl this afternoon between West Bank Farm and the Old Passage Inn. (James Robinson).

Frampton     A Cattle Egret and a Great White Egret on Court Lake this morning. (Nick Goatman).

WWT Slimbridge     Four Spotted Redshanks this evening from Zeiss hide, also a Wood Sandpiper, 21 Redshanks, 17 Ruff, nine Snipe and 186 Black-tailed Godwits. (Slimbridge Sightings).

Stroud     At Frome Banks at lunchtime a Mandarin, a Dipper, a Grey Wagtail and a Goldcrest. (Richard Williams/Simon Ashley).

Quedgeley     A Kingfisher still between Rea Bridge and Sims Lane bridge. (Justin Collinge).

Chavenage Lane     Two Red Kites and a probable Honey Buzzard today. (Terry Grant).

Nailsworth     A Hobby flying S today. (Terry Grant).

Guscar Rocks     At high tide six Canada Geese, two Mallards, six Grey Herons, 30 Dunlins, 15 Ringed Plovers, 347 Curlews, a Redshank and 200 Black-headed Gulls. (Mike Smart).
