Forest of Dean     At Cannop Stoneworks an immature Dipper, five Grey Wagtails and 14 Mandarins. At Parkend cricket ground 22 Pied Wagtails, a Sparrowhawk and eight Magpies. At Crabtree Hill a male Redstart, a male Stonechat and five Crossbills over. (Derek Hale).

Lydney     After dusk eight Mandarins flew over the garden. (Stephen Curtis & Carol Rushton).

Selsley Common     A female/juvenile Redstart in the quarries this afternoon. (Jon Dexter).

Chalford     A female Goosander on the leat again today SO889024. The Leat is part of Belvedere Mill. (Jeremy Nottingham).

WWT Slimbridge    From the Estuary Tower a BITTERN in flight over the Top New Piece then flew into the Decoy/Canoe Safari area. (John Budd). A female Wheatear at Middle Point at 10am. Two Kestrels hunting nearby. Two SPOONBILLS and two Marsh Harriers from Zeiss hide. The Ross’s Goose with Barnacle Geese still. A family of Common Cranes moving around as the tide came up and a Sparrowhawk. A probable female Merlin flew past the Estuary Tower. (Paul Sutton).

Saul Warth     At high tide a Ruff, eight Avocets, ten Black-tailed Godwits, 191+ Curlews, 110+ Dunlins, 70+ Ringed Plovers, a Little Stint, a Common Sandpiper and seven Little Egrets. Also two Yellow Wagtails, a Grey Wagtail, 6+ Chiffchaffs, 25+ Swallows, five House Martins and 50+ Goldfinches. (MK).

Frampton pools     Two Great White Egrets, seven Little Egrets, 300+ Sand Martins, 20+ House Martins, 10+ Swallows, a Lesser Whitethroat, three Reed Warblers, two Cetti’s Warblers, 36 Chiffchaffs, 22 Blackcaps, a Grey Wagtail, 25 Pied Wagtails, an adult Yellow-legged Gull, three Bullfinches and 16 House Sparrows today. Nailsworth     Four Red Kites today. (Keith & Lyn Perkins).

Walmore Common     This morning a Sand Martin, 60 Swallows, three Whinchats, a Wheatear and Yellow Wagtail. (Andy Jayne).

Lower Dumball, Rodley     Two Kestrels, a Lesser Whitethroat, a Redstart, four Whinchats and a Little Owl heard. (Andy Jayne).

Aylburton Warth/Guscar Rocks    30 Teal, eight Mallards, two Grey Herons, a female-type Marsh Harrier, a male Peregrine, a Grey Plover, 15 Ringed Plovers, nine Dunlins, 344 Curlews (15 colour rings from the 2010 to 2013 catches read, two 2019 Slimbridge headstarts seen), a Whimbrel, three Common Sandpipers, five Skylarks, a Chiffchaff, 75 Jackdaws, 100 Rooks and 20 Carrion Crows. Coombe Hill Meadows    38 Yellow Wagtails flying S low over the reserve. Also a Water Rail.  Along the canal 1+ Water Rail and a Kingfisher heard. (Ken Heron & Jenny Jones).
