WWT Slimbridge From the Estuary Tower a BITTERN in flight over the Top New Piece then flew into the Decoy/Canoe Safari area. (John Budd). A female Wheatear at Middle Point at 10am. Two Kestrels hunting nearby. Two SPOONBILLS and two Marsh Harriers from Zeiss hide. The Ross’s Goose with Barnacle Geese still. Saul Warth At high tide a Ruff, eight Avocets, ten Black-tailed Godwits, 191+ Curlews, 110+ Dunlins, 70+ Ringed Plovers, a Little Stint, a Common Sandpiper and seven Little Egrets. Also two Yellow Wagtails, a Grey Wagtail, 6+ Chiffchaffs, 25+ Swallows, five House Martins and 50+ Goldfinches. (MK).
