WWT Slimbridge     A BLACK TERN on South Lake between 12:50-5:15pm (Slimbridge Sightings) but it did go missing occasionally and presumably this bird was seen on the canal between Shepherds Patch and Purton at 3:35pm. (Francis Steuck). Three Pintails on the Top New Piece this afternoon, also an immature Spotted Redshank. (Mark Hobson).

Shepherds Patch Bridge to Purton     This afternoon c700 Swallows, 250 Sand Martins, 300 House Martins, a Swift, two Hobbies and c40 Yellow Wags just SW of Patch Bridge feeding amongst cattle. (Francis Steuck).

Saul Warth     Early morning two Common Sandpipers, a Redshank, a Black-tailed Godwit, a Little Egret, a female Blackcap, two Chiffchaffs, two Whitethroats, two Yellow Wagtails, a Grey Wagtail and ten Pied Wagtails, 30+ Swallows, six House Martins and a Muntjac. (MK).

Rodley    A juvenile Cattle Egret briefly with cattle at Lower Dumball before flying off upriver at 11:30am. (Andy Jayne).

Chedworth     Two Whinchats and a male Stonechat on the disused Airfield. Also two Yellow Wagtails, five Pied Wagtails and a Meadow Pipit in with the cows, 30+ Swallows and a Raven. (Duncan Dine/Steve Brown).

Cleeve Hill     This morning at least seven Wheatears, a Whinchat, small flocks of Skylarks and Swallows moving through. (Tom Mabbett).

Newnham-on-Severn     A Pied Flycatcher at the back of the house this morning. (Lewis Thomson).

Hazleton    Four Red Kites and ten Corn Buntings today. (Steve Brown).

Rendcomb     A Dipper very close to the bridge, a Green Woodpecker, a Great Spotted Woodpecker and a Nuthatch today. (Steve Brown).

Nailsworth     At Ruskin Mill ponds today two Chiffchaffs, a Marsh Tit, two Coal Tits, three Nuthatches, a female Grey Wagtail, three Little Grebes (2 ads, 1 juv), 12 Mallards, a juvenile Cormorant, six Grey Herons and a juvenile Buzzard. (Jake King).

Stinchcombe Hill     11 Ravens in the sky at the same time, displaying over the golf course today. (Chris Newton).

Brockworth    A Hummingbird Hawk Moth in the garden. (Dave Goodwin).
