Cleeve Hill     Two DOTTERELS, a moulting adult male and a juvenile, all day until dusk. Turn left from masts car park SO 99395 24811 and they are on the fairway at SO 98645 25710 100yds beyond the obvious lone tree (the memorial tree) on the hill. (Jon Mercer et al). Around the radio masts at midday three Whinchats, two Stonechats and a Willow Warbler. (Chris Snook).

Frampton      The BLACK TERN still on the Sailing Lake today from 11am until 12:40pm at least. (Nigel Sluman/Ken Heron). Around the pools a Swift, two Cattle Egrets, three Great White Egrets, 11 Little Egrets, two Redshanks, two Green Sandpipers, two Hobbies, five Grey Herons, three Pochards, 16 Wigeon, 20 Tufted Ducks, 42 Gadwalls, 150+ Sand Martins, 20+ Swallows and three Treecreepers. (Nick Goatman). Also a Water Rail. (Ken Heron).

Painswick     Migration watch today from Cud Hill 6:45-11:30am, highlights were 2300 House Martins, 630 Swallows, 25 Sand Martins, a Swift and a Hobby all moving south. Six Goldcrests and three Spotted Flycatchers in a roving tit flock. (John Fleming).

Saul Warth     This afternoon, just 17 Curlews, six Black-tailed Godwits, a Common Sandpiper, a Wheatear, six Yellow Wagtails, a male Blackcap, four Chiffchaffs, one singing, 30+ Swallows and a Kingfisher on the canal. (MK).

WWT Slimbridge    On the Severn this morning a Great White Egret, three Little Egrets, a Marsh Harrier through, two Ruff, three Grey Plovers, a Greenshank, a Turnstone, a Bar-tailed Godwit, three Curlew Sandpipers, three Avocets, 300+ Dunlins and Ringed Plovers, four Knot, two Sanderlings, a Redshank, 70+ Curlews, two Whinchats, three Reed Buntings and nine Yellow Wagtails with the cattle. (Neil Smart/Steve Brown).  On the Rushy five Spotted Redshanks and 10+ Ruffs. Numerous Swallows hunting the summer walkway and a few House Martins around the entrance buildings. (Steve Brown). Coombe Hill Meadows     This afternoon two Stonechats, seven Whinchats and three Yellow Wagtails with the cattle. (Ian Hull).

Halmore     A female Sparrowhawk took a House Sparrow in the garden today. (Chris Newton).
