Saul Warth     107+ Curlews, 48 Grey Plovers, 12 Dunlins, a Common Sandpiper, seven Shelducks, two Great White Egrets, two Little Egrets, a Cattle Egret at Splatt Bridge with the cattle, a Marsh Harrier over the 100-Acre, a Chiffchaff, two Swallows S, 30+ Meadow Pipits, a Grey Wagtail, a Great Spotted Woodpecker, two Linnets and 20+ Goldfinches. (Jake King/John Fletcher/MK). Another 102 Goldfinches Fretherne side of Hock Ditch. Also there earlier a Whimbrel and a Wheatear. (John Fletcher).

Sharpness     From the docks to Berkeley Pill this morning 6+ Stonechats, four Curlew Sandpipers, 30+ Redshanks, a Curlew, Skylarks and Meadow Pipits. (Mike Davis). This evening 27 Black-tailed Godwits and a Bar-tailed Godwit this evening. (Andy Jordan).

WWT Slimbridge     Two pairs of Mandarins at Decoy hide at 10:43am. (Jeremy Holland). A Wheatear from the raised platform along Summer Walkway. (Paul Clark).

Stonehouse     A Little Grebe on the Ocean, a Buzzard over, a Kingfisher busy between Bond’s Mill and the Ocean, a pair of Jays and the Yellow bellied Slider has reappeared. (Paul Sutton).

Gloucester     A Tawny Owl calling from a large oak tree in St Lawrence Churchyard, Barnwood at 8pm. (Rob & Petra Crofton).

Ashleworth Ham     A ringing session caught 52 birds including 26 Meadow Pipits, two Blackcaps, seven Chiffchaffs, six Reed Buntings, a Bullfinch and a Goldfinch. Also two flights of 19 and 25 Greylags over early, a Peregrine on the pylons and a Little Owl calling early on from Stonebow Farm. (Mike Smart/Mervyn Greening).
