Frampton     Around the pools a late Yellow Wagtail over S, 51 Redwings, five Siskins, four Great White Egrets, four Green Sandpipers, 88 Wigeon, 25 Tufted Ducks, 11 Shovelers, 72 Mallards, 114 Gadwalls, 40 Teal, a Water Rail, 315 Coots, 43 Moorhens, 14 Little Grebes, six Great Crested Grebes, 22 Cormorants, two Cetti’s Warblers and six Chiffchaffs. Cotswold Water Park East    At Pit 132 this morning three Greenshanks, three Snipe, three Green Sandpipers and a Great White Egret. (Duncan Dine).

Slimbridge     A Peregrine on the church this morning. (Luke Hunter).

Witcombe Reservoirs     WeBS count included four Canada Geese, 65 Greylags, three adult Mute Swans, 40 Mallards, eight Tufted Ducks, four Little Grebes, four Great Crested Grebes, an adult Grey Heron, six Cormorants, 11 Moorhens and 17 Coots. (Gordon Avery).

Shab Hill     A female Stonechat today. (Gordon Avery).

Stonehouse    On the Stanley Downton-Bond’s Mill-Ocean loop a Great Spotted Woodpecker, three Buzzards, Pied and Grey Wagtails, a small Chaffinch flock, a Goldcrest, two Little Egrets and two male Kingfishers chasing and busy between Bond’s Mill and the Ocean. (Paul Sutton).

Ashleworth Ham     A ringing session with caught 26 birds including a Kestrel, trying but failing to take Meadow Pipits out of the net, 12 Meadow Pipits, a Redwing, a Blackcap, three Chiffchaffs, three Goldfinches, a Lesser Redpoll and a Reed Bunting. Also a Raven heard. (Mike Smart).
