Awre     No sign of the Richard’s Pipit today. A Goshawk over the church at 1pm. (Jeremy Holland). This evening two Whinchats and seven Stonechats. (Lewis Thomson).

Fretherne to Hope Pill, Arlingham     From the Severn Way eight Grey Herons, two Little Egrets, seven Shelducks, seven Curlews, a Buzzard, a Kestrel, a Sparrowhawk, four Meadow Pipits, seven Stonechats, six Reed Buntings, a Chiffchaff, a Raven and two Jays. (MK).

Stinchcombe Hill     This morning 32 Redwings, seven Siskins, 15 Linnets, a Lesser Redpoll, a Reed Bunting and tens of Meadow Pipits on the move. (James Robinson).

WWT Slimbridge     Three Spotted Redshanks from Robbie Garnett hide. At Middle Point 400+ Golden Plovers, 15 Grey Plovers, five Knot, three Avocets, two Ringed Plovers, a Peregrine, four Little Egrets and 15 Common Cranes in a field on other side of the river. (Roy Kinchin). A Goshawk flew high over the centre at 1:45pm and flew N. (Dave Paynter).

Frampton     From the towpath N of Splatt Bridge nine Cattle Egrets and a Little Egret. (Duncan Dine).

Tewkesbury     From Lower Lode to Deerhurst a Kingfisher, an Egyptian Goose, a Green Woodpecker, 10+Chaffinches, eight Meadow Pipits and a Redwing. (Les Ditchburn).

Halmore     Two Green Sandpipers at dawn on a farm silage pit. (Chris Newton).

Maisemore     This afternoon seven Yellowhammers, 25 Linnets, two Green Woodpeckers, a Nuthatch, two Jays, six Long-tailed Tits, two Ravens, a Mistle Thrush, eight Moorhens, nine Mute Swans, six Buzzards and two Red Kites. (John Fletcher).

Cheltenham    Early evening in Keynsham Road, two Coal Tits with a small flock of Long-tailed Tits in the hospital grounds. (Steve Brown).
