Frampton     A YELLOW-BROWED WARBLER in willows along the canal path S of Splatt Bridge amongst a small Long-tailed Tit flock, but lost to view after they flew across the canal. No further sign in an extensive search later. (Colin Greenfield). From Splatt Bridge to Cambridge along the canal 6+ Cattle Egrets at Splatt, seven Skylarks, moving E in 1’s & 2’s, four Meadow Pipits, a Chiffchaff singing, three Cetti’s Warblers calling, a Fieldfare, flocks of 10 and 14 Long-tailed Tits and a Goldcrest. WWT Slimbridge     The COLLARED PRATINCOLE showed well on South Lake again today. (Dot Jones/Mark Hobson). A Marsh Harrier on a kill at Zeiss hide this morning. (Eric Harris).

Aylburton Warth/Lydney New Grounds     A FIRECREST with a tit flock at Stockwell Lane level crossing. A late female Redstart feeding along a fence line out in the open at Lydney New Grounds. Also today a Short-eared Owl, a Cattle Egret, four Rock Pipits, 50+ Fieldfares, 30+ Redwings and eight Stonechats. (Lewis Thomson).

Painswick Beacon     This morning eight Hawfinches, two RING OUZELS, 24 Bramblings, 1990 Redwings, 350 Fieldfares and 220 Chaffinches. (Francis Steuck).

Cleeve Hill     A RING OUZEL early afternoon. (Duncan Dine).

Stinchcombe Hill     This morning 170+ winter thrushes, mostly Redwings, ten Starlings, seven Stonechats, three Siskins, two Lesser Redpolls, a male Blackcap and two Ravens. (James Robinson).

Chapmans Cross     c500 Golden Plovers flying around fields from the A419 near Chapmans Cross at cSO935023 at 1:40pm. (Gordon Avery).

Coombe Hill Meadows    This morning two Lapwings, five Grey Herons, a Red Kite, three Buzzards, a Kestrel, three Fieldfares, eight Redwings, a Reed Bunting, four Stonechats, a Jay, five Long-tailed Tits, 30 Goldfinches and 6+ Migrant Hawkers. (Paul Clark). Also two Canada Geese, five Greylags, two Wigeon, 150 Teal, 50 Mallards, six Pintails, six Grey Herons, ten Moorhens, four Snipe, a steady trickle of 30+ Skylarks SW, two Meadow Pipits, 20 Redwings, a Cetti’s Warbler, a Chiffchaff singing and 20 Linnets. Leigh Meadows     A Grey Heron, a Green Sandpiper and a Meadow Pipit. (Mike Smart).

Epney     Two Ruff early afternoon. (Steve Pullen).

Saul Warth     A Wheatear, two Stonechat, 15 Meadow Pipits, 15 Linnets, 40 Goldfinches, two Great Spotted Woodpeckers, two Mistle Thrushes, two Grey Plovers, 30 Dunlins, 45 Curlews, ten Redwings, four Grey Herons and five Little Egrets. (Steve Pullen).

Cranham     At Buckholt Woods this afternoon, a Tawny Owl calling, a mixed flock of 4+ Marsh Tits, 2+ Long-tailed Tits, 1+ Great Tits and a Goldcrest, also two Nuthatches. (Paul Masters).

Awre     Two Yellowhammers, a Whinchat, seven Stonechats, 16 Common Cranes, 200+ Fieldfare, 65+ Redwings and a Chiffchaff. (Lewis Thomson).
