Lydney New Grounds     The SNOW BUNTING still today at SO 63750 00690 at 2pm. Park at the end of Harbour Road, cross the swing bridge and follow the footpath S to New Grounds. Also an adult Goshawk over Lydney Lakes near the railway station at 2:31pm. (Tom O’Shea).

Berkeley    A HOUSE MARTIN over N and a Greenshank still in the Pill this morning. (Andy Jordan).

Sharpness     A MERLIN flew from Sharpness to Lydney at 8:28am. (Andy Jordan).

Priding    130+ Golden Plovers with a Lapwing flock this morning. (Esther Rumsey).

Frampton pools     This morning a HAWFINCH over, a pair of Stonechats, six Chiffchaffs, four singing, two Cetti’s Warblers, a Green Sandpiper, 100+Fieldfares, 70+ Redwings, a Reed Bunting and the adult Yellow-legged Gull. (Nick Goatman). This afternoon 12 Lesser Redpolls behind the Sailing Lake, a Great White Egret, a Kingfisher and 22 Redwings. (Steve Pullen).

Saul Warth     This morning four Grey Herons, four Little Egrets, four Cormorants, 160+ Shelducks, 50+ Curlews, 200+ distant Dunlins, a Peregrine, a female Stonechat, 19 Fieldfares, seven Redwings, 25+ Chaffinches, 15 Goldfinches, 6+ Linnets, eight Meadow Pipits, five Pied Wagtails, two Skylarks and 12 Long-tailed Tits.
