Saul Warth     At high tide at first light, 86 Lapwings, 50 Golden Plovers, 22 Dunlins and 40 Canada Geese all flew S, 22 Shelducks, a Little Egret, a Kestrel, a pair of Stonechats, 17 Redwings, two Mistle Thrushes, two Song Thrushes, a Stock Dove, ten Chaffinches and 14 Meadow Pipits. (MK).

Chavenage Lane area     A female MERLIN, a Red Kite, 300+ Fieldfares and at nearby Barton End a male MERLIN being chased by two Crows as it pursued a Skylark. (Terry Grant).

Bussage     At Frith Wood this morning two Marsh Tits, 4+ Long-tailed Tits, four Nuthatches, 20+ Chaffinches, a Goldcrest and a pair of Ravens. (Paul Masters).

WWT Slimbridge    Late afternoon six Cattle Egrets and a Little Egret from Estuary Tower on the edge of the scrape and three White-fronted Geese. Also a drake Mandarin on the Rushy. (Paul Masters).

Ashleworth Ham   This afternoon 160 Teal, 103 Wigeon, four Gadwalls, five Shovelers, 250+ Mallards, four Grey Herons, seven Lapwings, three Chaffinches, a Buzzard, 30+ Redwings and Fieldfares in a mixed flock. (John Fletcher).
