Saul Warth A DIVER sp S over Fretherne then N upriver towards Broadoak very high up at 10:41am, unfortunately no time for anything other than record shots. At high tide 42 Canada Geese, 120 Lapwings, 100 Golden Plovers and eight Dunlins flew S and two Curlews flew N. On the falling tide a Little Stint, 300+ Dunlins, 40 Grey Plovers, a Bar-tailed Godwit, five Little Egrets and a Common Sandpiper. Also a Kestrel, 10+ Redwings, two Fieldfares, a Rock Pipit, 20+ Meadow Pipits, 12 Goldfinches, six Skylarks, a Chiffchaff and a Reed Bunting. (MK).
