Gloucester    Belated news for yesterday afternoon a RICHARD’S PIPIT at Sudmeadow on the grass slope 400 metres S of the Land Rover on the old tip at SO814183. Good views but very flighty and calling a lot. Also a Jay, a Great Spotted Woodpecker, a Sparrowhawk, a Peregrine, two Kestrels, three Stonechats, five Meadow Pipits, a Bullfinch and lots of Redwings and a few Fieldfares. Today at Saintbridge pond a Kingfisher, six Teal (4m, 2f), 30+ Mallards, three Moorhens and a Great Spotted Woodpecker heard. (Paul Brunt).

Awre     The RICHARD’S PIPIT again this afternoon seen several times but very mobile again and last seen at 3:38pm at https://w3w.co/annotated.catching.belonging Four Ravens, 60 Redwings, 30 Fieldfares, 25 Meadow Pipits, c50 Skylarks, three Kestrels, a Common Crane heard, a Grey Plover, a Chiffchaff, two Snipe, ten Stonechats, a Sparrowhawk, a Mistle Thrush, seven Song Thrushes, ten Blackbirds, a Greenfinch, a Grey Wagtail, five Buzzards and a Peacock and a Red Admiral. Lydney     A SIBERIAN CHIFFCHAFF along the Severn Way between Lydney Harbour and Purton this afternoon (monk.interrupt.supposing, SO66050364). Classic looking bird but didn’t call. Also two nominate Chiffchaffs. (Lewis Thomson).

Aylburton Warth    No sign of the Snow Bunting between 3:30-4:20pm today but a MERLIN and three Curlews. (Martin Vaisey).

Guscar Rocks/Aylburton Warth     WeBS count this morning 30 Greylags, 50 Canada Geese, 50 Wigeon, 80 Teal, 14 Grey Herons, a Goshawk, two Buzzards, 15 Dunlins, a Snipe, 500 Curlews, 40 Redshanks, a Green Sandpiper, five Herring Gulls, ten Skylarks, 40 Meadow Pipits and 50 Carrion Crows (Mike Smart).

Sharpness     A male BLACK REDSTART still in the docks around the tallest building and a female/1st winter BLACK REDSTART 200 yards N of the tallest building in the dock compound. (Andy Jordan).

Witcombe Reservoirs     Five Pochards (1m, 4f), two Grey Wagtails on the causeway. Three Red Kites over Cooper’s Hill wood. (Sam Walker).

Chedworth area     Five Red Kites, four Buzzards, two Ravens, a pair of Stonechats, ten Skylarks, a Great Spotted Woodpecker and a Siskin. (MK).

Saul Warth     Late afternoon a Treecreeper, a male Reed Bunting, a Song Thrush, a Kestrel, two Ravens, three Redshanks, a Black-tailed Godwit, 400+ Dunlins, a Common Sandpiper, 62 Shelducks, 65 Lapwings, 2000+ Starlings heading SW and  300+ Fieldfares and Redwings. (Steve Pullen).
